Every OpenPhone plan includes 10 free Sona calls per month. Need more? Paid Sona plans start at $25/month for 40 calls, with higher tiers available as your needs grow. Learn more about pricing.

Which OpenPhone plan do I need to be on to use Sona?

Sona is available as an add-on for all OpenPhone plans: Starter, Business, and Scale.

Can I purchase Sona while on a free trial of OpenPhone?

No, you must be on a paid OpenPhone plan to purchase Sona. Free trial users will need to convert to a paid plan first before adding the Sona add-on.

Is there a free trial of Sona?

When you start an OpenPhone trial, you’ll automatically get unlimited access to Sona for the same 7-day period. After 7 days, your OpenPhone trial ends. If you upgrade to a paid OpenPhone plan, you’ll be able to continue using Sona by selecting one of the paid tiers.

What languages does Sona support?

Currently, Sona only supports English. If a caller speaks another language, Sona won't be able to respond. We're working on adding support for additional languages in the future.

Can I configure Sona to handle different situations?

Yes, you can add multiple Sona steps in your call flow and configure each one differently. For example, you might have different knowledge or greetings during business hours versus after hours.

Can Sona make outbound calls?
